Use this guide as a repeatable checklist while reviewing independent product references. The original listing and current platform information should be checked before any order.
Separate item cost from shipping
Record each item's source price in its original currency. Add domestic delivery, service charges and any other platform fees separately. International shipping is usually quoted later, after items arrive and their package weight and dimensions are known. A displayed product price is not a total delivered cost.
Plan for size and weight
Shoes with boxes, bulky jackets and large bags can affect parcel dimensions as well as weight. Compare available shipping lines only after you know the actual package details. An estimate made before warehouse arrival is useful for budgeting but may change.
Check destination requirements
Import rules, restricted items, duties and taxes vary by destination and can change. Read the current information from the carrier and the relevant customs authority. Keep invoices and product descriptions accurate. Do not assume that a shipping line available for one item is available for every item.
Use a final review
Before submitting a parcel, confirm recipient details, product count, packaging request, line restrictions and the final quoted amount. Keep order and tracking references in one place. If a product is time-sensitive, allow room for inspection and shipping delays.
